Arcade racers are the perfect commute game
There's a reason I keep a racing game installed at all times. When you've got three minutes on a platform, nothing beats a quick lap. Neon Drift Circuit is my current pick and it taught me what makes the genre tick on mobile.
Short tracks are everything. A race you can finish in ninety seconds respects that you might get interrupted. The best arcade racers also make losing feel fun, because the restart button is right there and you're back in it instantly.
Try the touch controls before writing off a game that defaults to tilt. A lot of people bounce off tilt steering, then discover the game is much better with on-screen buttons. It's usually buried in the settings.
Skip the ones that gate every car behind a wall of grinding, though. The joy is in the driving, not the waiting.
