Emberfall Oath

Emberfall Oath is the kind of RPG I didn't expect to find on mobile. It's turn-based, it has actual branching dialogue, and the writing doesn't treat you like a child. You build a small party, each member has a distinct kit, and fights reward you for reading the enemy rather than mashing attack.
The touch interface deserves praise. Positioning your characters and queuing skills feels natural with a thumb, and there's an auto-battle for the trash fights so you're not slogging. The story has real stakes and a couple of choices that genuinely stuck with me.
My one gripe is that the early hours move slowly. Stick with it past the first chapter, though, and it opens into something special.
